Terms and conditions

About these terms

By using this website you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. ZodiacSigns.it.com is a free, general-interest guide to the zodiac signs and related traditions; it sells nothing and requires no account.

Acceptable use

You may read, share links to and print pages for personal, non-commercial use. You must not:

• attempt to break, overload, probe or bypass the security of the site or its server;
• copy large parts of the site automatically (scraping) or republish its content as your own;
• send spam, malicious code, threats, harassment or unlawful material through the contact form or by email;
• use the site in a way that breaks any applicable law or the rights of others.

Intellectual property

The text, design, star charts, social images and code of this site are protected by copyright and belong to the site’s operator unless stated otherwise. Short quotations with a link to the source page are welcome.

Some data is used under open licenses and remains under those licenses: place names from GeoNames (CC BY 4.0), star positions and constellation lines from the d3-celestial project (BSD license), and U.S. birth counts published by FiveThirtyEight (CC BY 4.0). The zodiac glyph drawings offered on the tattoo page are derived from the free DejaVu fonts and may be used for personal projects, including tattoos.

Guest posts and submissions

If you send us an article, you confirm that it is your original work, that you have the right to submit it, and that it does not infringe anyone’s rights. If we publish it, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide right to publish, edit for clarity and accuracy, and keep it online; you keep your copyright and are credited as the author. Nature of the content

Astrology pages describe traditions and symbolism. They are provided for general interest and education, not as medical, psychological, legal, financial or relationship advice. Read the disclaimer.

Accuracy and availability

We check dates and calculations carefully and publish our methods, but we cannot guarantee that every page is complete, current or free of errors. The site is provided “as is”. We may change, suspend or remove pages or tools at any time and do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.

Third-party links

Pages link to external sources such as encyclopedias, museums and research papers for reference. We do not control those websites and are not responsible for their content, availability or privacy practices.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, ZodiacSigns.it.com is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or reliance on, the website, its tools or its content. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Your responsibilities

You are responsible for the decisions you make. Do not rely on zodiac content for important decisions, and check calculator results that matter to you, for example a birth time on the cusp, against official records.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms; the Updated date below shows the latest version. Questions: contact us.
